Players can choose to battle and trade Pokémon with other different human players by using the connectivity features available. Wild Pokemon can be caught and captured if they are found during encounters that are random by depleting them in battle and catching them with Poke balls which allows them to be added to the player’s group. When an opposing Pokemon has been defeated in a turn-based battle, your Pokemon gains more experience and you can do many things such as level up, increase your battle statistics, explore and learn new and fresh techniques while your Pokemon evolves and becomes powerful. The player plays as a young trainee who goes on multiple quests to train creatures called Pokemon and catch them. The game is presented from a third perspective. It has been set in the fictional region known as Alola.
In addition, co-op play with up to three other players is included.
A mechanic called “Let’s Go” will allow the player to send out a Pokémon to roam the overworld and automatically battle wild Pokémon. To assist in travel, Koraidon, Miraidon, and the Pokémon, Cyclizar, can be used to traverse the environment. The games introduces three new starter Pokémon: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly and two new legendary Pokémon: Koraidon and Miraidon.In addition to this, progression through the games are up to the players, with three routes available to choose from: Path of Legends, Victory Road and Starfall Street. Scarlet and Violet have open worlds, which include both urban areas and open wilderness without borders between the two, unlike previous installments in the Pokémon series.Pokémon Scarlet and Violet largely follow the same basic gameplay structure of previous Pokémon games, where players obtain creatures known as Pokémon, primarily through catching and trading, and use them to explore the world and battle other Pokémon trainers.
